I recently ordered a gift for a friend through recent beans online, having had very good experience in store and with their products in the past. The customer service, even though, remote was exceptional. 100% a standout local business.

Love this place! Great coffee, great service. A perfect walk for me on maternity to grab a coffee and enjoy while the baby sleeps! Rosie has served me a few times now and has been really helpful. Also makes great coffee ☕️

Just had the most brilliant 2 1/2 hours at DJ's Cafe in Pontefract with Recent Beans. Barry explained the whole process of coffee making from start to finish in a very informative, interesting and enjoyable way. We enjoyed every minute, thank you so much. We had the pleasure of tasting coffees which were absolutely amazing. The treats that Scott from @bakehousethreenine @djspontefract were, as usual, out of this world.

I made an order late last night and it arrived around 5pm today! I'm so impressed and the quality of the products and packaging is outstanding. My order also came with a lovely, handwritten, personalised note thanking me for my order! I'll definitely be ordering again - the service is amazing 😊☕

What can I say! Myself and my wife have been customers of recent beans for the last 6 months or so and have worked through their excellent selection of coffees from around the world. I bought Beth a roasting experience for Christmas for us both to do to learn a bit more about what this company do on a daily basis and to understand more about what we like in our coffee and what we would put into a blend for us. Barry was the best of hosts for the evening and showed a incredible level of knowledge in the coffee that they sell and as such created what could be the perfect blend for us. The experience overall was informative and engaging and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in coffee. what can I say. I'm converted from buying the Costa coffee & Starbucks cr*p to buying fresh grounded coffee . variety and tastes are amazing. also added on top of that the fantastic customer service and welcoming you get when you go thru the doors. Thank-you so much . loyal customer now x

So glad I found Recent Beans a few months ago. After buying a Sage Barista Bean to cup machine I wanted fresh coffee beans. This is THE place to go. Expert help and advice. Nothing is too much trouble. Currently drinking Nose to the Grindstone which is very tasty. I have a subscription so fresh beans are hand delivered on a fortnightly basis. A click message to the shop for any amendments, which are speedily actioned. If you are wanting fresh @recentbeans coffee beans then look no further. I can recommend this amazing company and staff 100% Keep up the fantastic work.

After their courier company let them down Recent Beans have gone out of their way to get the issue resolved. The coffee is always excellent and so is the service.
