Autumn Coffee Recipes for home (That aren't Pumpkin Spiced)

The nights are drawing darker, the weather is turning colder and autumn is officially here. At Recent Beans, Autumn is our favourite time of year - Warm jackets, cold weather, leaves changing colours, halloween & bonfires (and for me, the NFL season) It's perfect!

Thanks to the 2nd wave coffee shops and their astronomical marketing budgets, the Pumpkin Spiced Latte is the belle of this ball, but there are more incredibly delicious coffee drinks that help welcome the autumn spirit. Better still, these can all be easily made at home, using freshly roasted Recent Beans coffee and not cost you £6 a cup.

Here's 4 of our favourite seasonal coffee recipes…

Maple Cinnamon Cappuccino

Maple Cinnamon Cappuccino

Ingredients

  • Foamed Milk
  • Freshly brewed, espresso strength coffee
  • 1-2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon, Or William Fox Cinnamon Syrup
  • Cinnamon Stick or Ground Cinnamon for garnish (optional)

Method

  • Add Maple Syrup and Cinnamon to favourite mug
  • Mix in coffee
  • Top with foamed milk
  • Garnish with Ground Cinnamon & Cinnamon Stick (optional)

Gingerbread Latte

Gingerbread Latte

Ingredients

  • Micro-foamed Milk
  • William Fox Gingerbread Syrup (or spice mix below)
  • Freshly brewed, espresso strength coffee
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate sprinkles & Gingerbread Man for garnish (optional)

Optional Spice Blend

  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Ground Ginger
  • 0.25 Tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 Tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Molasses

Method

  • Add William Fox Gingerbread Syrup to favourite mug
  • (If using the spice mix, stir spices into micro-foamed milk)
  • Mix in coffee
  • Add microfoamed milk
  • Top with Whipped Cream & Chocolate Sprinkles (optional)

Hazelnut Mocha

Hazelnut Mocha Macchiato

Ingredients

Method

  • Add 20g of Recent Beans Chocolate Pellets & Hazelnut syrup to your favourite mug (keep it small for a true macchiato feel)
  • Add freshly brewed espresso-strength coffee
  • Stir and allow chocolate pellets to melt
  • Add microfoamed milk
  • Top with Whipped Cream
  • Drizzle with chocolate sauce and add chopped hazelnuts for garnish (optional)

White Chocolate Mocha

Ingredients

Method

  • Add 20g of Recent Beans White Chocolate Pellets to your favourite mug
  • Add freshly brewed, espresso-strength coffee
  • Stir and allow chocolate pellets to melt
  • Add micro-foamed milk
  • Top with Whipped Cream
